Store Policy on Returns.

Requests for a return and refund must be received by us within 7 calendar days of receipt by the customer, starting from the arrival date and time indicated on the product's tracking number. Requests after this deadline are not eligible for returns. Altered product will not be accepted as a return.

Should we authorize a return, product(s) must be shipped back to us in unaltered form within 3 business days after our initial authorization for the return. Shipping and handling are not refundable. For orders less than 150.00 USD there is a 10 USD re-stocking fee on the order. For orders over 150.00 USD, there is a 10% re-stocking fee on the order subtotal, in addition to the cost of shipping and handling. These two sums will not be refunded. Additionally, the customer, regardless of where the customer is shipping the returned package from, must provide us with a tracking number, the tracking service and a tracking link. Failure to send this information may risk receiving a refund. Insurance is suggested. A refund will be processed after we have received and evaluated the merchandise to ensure it was unaltered and undamaged. We reserve the right to take 14 business days to review all incoming goods before processing any refunds. This policy is enforced on all orders and is agreed to by the customer by choosing to purchase from us and it is assumed all customers have read, understand, and agree to all of our policies fully before purchasing.

For custom products where the customer designated a particular finish or a particular size, or cut, no refunds will be given. A custom product is any product where an additional service was needed or was ordered at a specific parameter. This includes slices, beads and other objects which require a finish particular to their order.

Superconductor matrix is made by utilizing drawing and annealing metallurgical processes, which compress the superconductor’s metal components together (i.e. the copper and the niobium). These components are not welded together and furthermore each component has different material and mechanical properties. You should always work cautiously when using various machining methods (i.e. waterjetting, milling, hammering, etching etc.) and we are not responsible for any unintended results while applying these or other machining methods. Work with superconductor at your own risk. We supply superconductor because we want to make available this novel and interesting material to the maker community. Superconductor material is designed for carrying electrical current. It is not intended for use other than what it was originally designed and engineered for.
